A pre-schooling in Public Relations is what lured me into the hospitality industry and later on into the world of interiors.

An apprenticeship in Interior Design opened up a long and interesting career working with inspiring people and beautiful places around the world.

Beauty nurtures the soul, and so midway on this journey, my aesthetic eye longed for a more psychic interior, a more intimate understanding of the the dark forest of madness and sadness my life was leading me into. I was curious about why I repeated the patterns of behaviour I did. My personal experience of therapy seeded in me a longing for a deeper understanding of the human condition and its suffering, not only from my personal, ancestral and collective patterns but something even more mysterious and sacred. This I found access into through an education in Depth Psychology.

A Masters of Psychology in Archetypal studies (2013) with The Tamboo Academy offered teachings within a rich lineage that threaded together many styles of psychology, mythology and philosophy, grounded in the work of C.G Jung, deepening further into the astonishing work of James Hillman.

An ongoing interest in schizophrenia and other mysterious psychological conditions has lead me to work as a volunteer at Valkenburg Psychiatric Hospital since 2013, where I offer music and art classes once a week to patients.

My Approach

As an imaginal therapist my interest is in looking at what first lights up in a persons interior.

What lies shrouded in the hidden recesses is what slowly gets revealed within the safety of a therapeutic container, where

we can explore your internal environment.

I like to work with the images and collected stories framing our lives, these reach into the mysterious complexity

of our relationships with those we love, including our families, the world and our bodies - these are the complex ties

that bind us together.

Through working with your dreams, mythology, body pathologies, illnesses, addictive patterns, spiritual experiences and

story telling, we find a more poetic language for the confusing mess we can find ourselves in

This is the aim of therapy.
